Tekashi 6ix9ine is a popular rapper.

Apparently the security team was chasing a person who had taken an unauthorized video of Tekashi.

In July of 2021, five members of Tekashi’s security force were indicted for an August, 2020 robbery in Harlem.

The charges were brought by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

The charges for the five were first degree robbery, second degree robbery and impersonating an officer.

One member of the team, a retired NYPD detective, was accused of falsely claiming the victim was brandishing a firearm.

The team chased the victim almost 20 blocks in SUVs with activated emergency lights and sirens.

The retired officer allegedly stopped police from helping the victim by claiming the victim had used a firearm in a threatening manner.

The team members eventually caught up with and stopped the victim.

The victim was removed from the vehicle, his phone taken and then stomped.

Police soon arrived.

The retired police detective member of the team attempted to make a criminal complaint against the victim but it was rejected by police.

Tekashi was not charged.

In September of 2019, two of the Derby County Ram’s star players, Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett were charged with drink-driving, the British equivalent of drunk driving.

On top of two players getting arrested on one night in one event, the team’s skipper and great defender,  Richard Keogh, suffered a season ending if not career ending knee injury in the related car crash.

The Team is considering terminating Lawrence and Bennett depending on the results of the team investigation.

Apparently Lawrence lost control of his vehicle and struck a lamp post.  Keogh was in the back seat of Lawrence’s vehicle and suffered his knee injury in the crash.

Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett could be sacked by Derby County, as the fallout continues from the drink-driving car crash that has ended captain Richard Keogh’s season.

Sadly the two players consumed their alcohol after a team bonding meal where alcohol was permitted and rides home arranged.

Unfortunately the three players declined the sober rides home.

Lawrence and Bennett are out on bail pending their court date.

MLB Outfielder Maybin’s DUI

Maybin began crying when arrested.  Apparently no one told Maybin the police are not concerned with his feelings or the effects on his life of a DUI arrest.  The police are not your friends.  You do not want to lie to the police.  Tell them “I want a lawyer.”  And then be quiet.  The only thing that you can say that will not hurt you is “I want a lawyer.”

Leonard Fournette arrested over unpaid speeding ticket

Leonard Fournette of the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars was recently arrested over an unpaid speeding ticket which caused his license to be suspended.  The arrest was for driving suspended.

Fournette had an amazing career at LSU and will hopefully have the same sort of career for the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Since the NFL now gets involved in players’ personal lives the issue was what punishment would be placed on Fournette for this arrest.  Essentially the NFL realizes it is entertainment and wants to remain respectable.

Coach Doug Marrone has now announced that there will be no team punishment for Fournette was was seen being handcuffed at a car wash.  Marrone admitted that he too had been arrested for driving suspended from unpaid traffic tickets.

Fournette has paid his fines and the driving suspended either has or will go away.  He is now left with what will the NFL do to him?  Hopefully nothing.

If you get a speeding ticket in Woodstock, Virginia or in Shenandoah County, Virginia contact Bob Keefer.  Not paying attention to speeding tickets can get you in trouble, ask Leonard Fournette.
